The Raiders partnered with the American Cancer Society to host a select group of cancer survivors who reside in the Bay Area for a chocolate making class at the team’s Alameda Facility in recognition of the NFL’s Crucial Catch initiative.

The 30 survivors along with their guests joined Raiders players punter A.J. Cole, defensive end Clelin Ferrell, center Andre James, linebacker Marquel Lee, long snapper Trent Sieg and linebackers Tahir Whitehead and Kyle Wilber in learning about the science, history and health benefits of chocolate. The group then took part in designing their own chocolate bars, which they were able to take home at the end of the evening.

The Raiders have designated the November 3 contest versus the Detroit Lions as the Crucial Catch game.
