‘Real Housewives’ Star Tired of Being Asked Why She Didn’t Cough Up $20K to Detroit Schools
(Patch) – Last year during a testy exchange between “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore, Leakes challenged Moore to give $20,000 to Detroit’s struggling public school system and said she would do the same.
Moore made her $20,000 donation at an October appearance at Cass Technical High School, her alma mater, and since then has been taunting her adversary on the show for failing to pay up. The hate between the two ‘Real Housewives’ stars is epic, according to Us Weekly.
“You cannot have a rational conversation with someone who only wants to hear themselves talk,” Moore said, according to an account on RealityTea.com. “NeNe does what she always does, and that’s to drown people out with her loud and harsh criticism. Yet she can’t keep silent long enough to hear anyone else. NeNe is a big, brash bully and she will never change.”
Leakes parlayed her “Real Housewives” success into a role on Broadway as the wicked stepmother in “Cinderella,” and Moore said that ought to make her flush enough to cough up the cash.
