Public Notices – Alameda County Seeking Temporary Workers for the 2020 General Election

The Alameda County Human Resource Services Temporary Assignment Pool  (TAP) Program is currently recruiting temporary workers for the upcoming 2020 General Election.

The Registrar of Voters is actively hiring during COVID-19 and are committed to a safe workplace. This assignment will be with the Registrar of Voters (ROV) and pays from $23.38 to $25.43 per hour, depending on the position.

Positions include instructors, recruiters, data entry, warehouse – logistics support and drivers, to name a few. 

Many roles require candidates to be bilingual in English and one of the following languages: Burmese, Chinese, Hindi, Khmer, Korean, Laotian, Mien, Mongolian, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, Telugu and Vietnamese.

Pop-Up COVID-19 Testing in Berkeley Continues

Sign up now to be tested for COVID-19 at a walk-up kiosk where people can swab their own mouth and place it in a receptacle — all while under supervision.

Speaker Series Addresses Sports in COVID-19 Era in  “Return to the Green”

PG&E Wildfire Safety Webinar

PG&E is hosting a series of online webinars for anyone who is interested in learning more about their Community Wildfire Safety Program. These virtual gatherings will allow community members to learn more about wildfire safety and emergency preparedness, meet with PG&E representatives, ask questions and share feedback.
