Kanye West, Paul McCartney’s ‘Only One’ Single Reaches Number Three

(The Telegraph) – The first of Kanye West‘s musical collaborations with Paul McCartney has reached number three in the US charts.
An ode to West’s daughter, North, Only One is the first single from West’s as-yet unnamed album and was a surprise release on iTunes and West’s website on New Year’s Day.
West, whose name Kanye means ‘only one’, said that the song was the result of a jam session with McCartney in Los Angeles in early 2014.
While McCartney played keyboards, West improvised lyrics, which he claimed came from his mother, Donda, who died in 2007.
