Vallejo Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Community, Business of the Year

The Vallejo Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 139th Annual Installation Dinner Friday, Jan. 10, recognizing community leaders and the Business of the Year.

Over 350 members and guests are expected to attend the event where officers and board of directors, including 2014 Board Chair Tom Atwood, will be installed.

The winners of the Vallejo Chamber’s Ambassador of the Year Award, Athena Award and Bud Butler Award will also be recognized at the event.

Members will be invited to decorate their table to represent their business, and the best table will win a cash prize. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. with dinner and the program starting at 7 p.m.

The Vallejo Chamber has been in existence since 1874 focusing on leadership in governmental affairs, political action, and seeking to improve the quality of living and doing business in Vallejo. The chamber has over 600 members including the Continentals of Omega Boys & Girls Club, Congressman Mike Thompson and several businesses in Solano County.

The chamber promotes monthly networking events throughout the year.
