Tom Joyner Kicks Off ‘One More Time Experience’ Tour in D.C.

WASHINGTON INFORMER — Tom Joyner and friends are hitting cities across the country. to celebrate 25 years of “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” and its namesake host, 69, who retired in 2018 after nearly a half-century in the radio business.

Tom Joyner and friends are hitting cities across the country to celebrate 25 years of “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” and its namesake host, 69, who retired in 2018 after nearly a half-century in the radio business.

The “One More Time Experience” kicked off Friday in D.C. in epic fashion — setting the bar high for the cities to come. Maze featuring Frankie Beverly headlined the show that included appearances by special guests Donnie Simpson and Urban One Chair Cathy Hughes.

Each tour date will showcase Tom and friends, including artists such as Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and Kem.

Upcoming tour dates:

June 1 – Detroit (Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre)
June 7 – Cleveland (Wolstein Center)
June 8 – Indianapolis (Indiana Farmers Coliseum)
July 12 – Columbus, Ohio (Nationwide Arena)
July 13 – St. Louis (Chaifetz Arena)
July 19 – Raleigh, N.C. (Coastal Credit Union Music Park)
July 20 – Charlotte, N.C. (PNC Music Pavilion)
Aug 3 – Atlanta (Wolf Creek Amphitheater)
Aug 16 – Dallas (The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory)
