WILBERFORCE, Ohio (WDTN) – Central State University is taking its first step toward removing the Cosby name from one of its buildings.

The university confirms to 2 NEWS that it covered up Bill Cosby’s name on a sign directing students to the Cosby Mass Communications Center.

A university spokesperson says the move is in response to the accusations swirling around the comedian. Cosby is accused of raping several women after drugging them. The allegations date back to the 1970s although Cosby has never been charged.

Excerpts from a deposition unsealed Monday revealed that Cosby admitted to giving sedatives to at least one of his accusers.  The excerpts indicate that Cosby gave quaaludes to the women he pursued for ‘extramarital sex’.
