Gary native Nik Evans is an “art head!” Anything artistic whether music, visual arts, dance or creative arts, she is drawn to it!
She also lives to create special events, which is why the resurrection of her brainchild Art E Gras was in order.
Art E Gras is an eclectic mix of live music, dance, entertainment, artistic vendors and poetry under one roof.
Set for October 4th at the ArtHouse Social Kitchen (411 E. 5th Avenue) in downtown Gary, Evans wants the art community and beyond to experience this unique occasion, which also happens to be her birthday!
Evans has scheduled an impressive lineup of artists who hail from Gary, Chicago and surrounding areas. There will be artists doing live painting, poets, singers, make- up demonstrations, and every vendor will feature original creations.
VIP Tickets include entry to a private reception at 6:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $20 with a 7:00 p.m. start time. For more information about tickets and vendor opportunities, email Art.E.Gras1012@gmail.com, call 219.951.8068 or visit eventbrite.com.
