Local Rapper and founder of Vegan Mob, Chef Toriano Gordon, offers traditional BBQ and Soul Food made with plant-based proteins and organic ingredients. The menu features traditional BBQ along with fusion meals like the Barbequito and the Soul Mob Rolls, deep fried spring rolls filled with “Smackaroni and Cheese,” candied yams and a side of ‘Country Sausage Gravy’.
Vegan Mob is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Located in the former Kwik Way Drive-in, a Grand Lake landmark, at 500 Lake Park Ave. in Oakland, with a food truck located at 701 Valencia St., San Francisco.
