The construction on the new George “Rocky” Graham Park in Marin City is under way, and inauguration is planned for late Spring 2015.
As part of the new park, an area is being dedicated to recognize individuals and families that are part of the Marin City’s history, a Community Honor Wall.
Names will be engraved on stainless steel panels and placed on the wall, which is located behind the amphitheater. Forms for the submissions of names are available online at www.rockygrahampark.com, and at the Marin City Community Services District’s office at 630 Drake Ave.
The George “Rocky” Graham Park is a project sponsored by the Marin City Community Services District and funded by the state 2006 Clean Water Bond Act. Organizations providing support to this project include Trust for Public Land, RHAA, Marinship, Mack 5 and Marin Grassroots.
Deadline for submissions is Monday, Dec. 1. For information visit www.rockygrahampark.org or call (415) 491-4366 x 300.
