The San Leandro Public Library invites all ages to play Winter Reading BINGO.

Starting Thursday, Dec.14, pick up a game card at any San Leandro Library branch or participate online with Beanstack, the Library’s online reading program application. Complete four squares in any direction to earn a small prize or an entry into the grand prize drawing.

“Shorter days and colder temperatures make December a great time to cozy up with a new book or an old favorite. We encourage readers of all ages to join the library’s free and easy winter reading game,” says Library Director Brian Simons.

Children and Youth (ages 0 to 17 years old): Please complete the whole game card (or badges on Beanstack) by Jan. 21 to earn a free scoop of ice cream, generously provided by our friends at Loard’s Ice Cream. Grand prizes include gift baskets and a STEM bundle.

Adults (18 years old and older): Earn a grand prize drawing ticket for every four squares completed. Complete the entire game card (or all the badges on Beanstack) by Jan. 21 to earn a finisher prize. Grand prizes include gift cards to local businesses.

All ages are encouraged to participate. Learn more at sanleandro.org/winterreading
