Hayward High’s Julian Johnson Graduates with 4.73 GPA, Will Attend Yale University

Hayward High School student body president Julian Johnson graduated from Hayward High School this week and will be attending Yale University with a major in public health. He plans to become a physician.

Johnson maintained a 4.73 GPA while performing 350 plus hours of community service. He received the State Seal of Biliteracy and was the recipient of the following merit-based scholarships including Chevron, M. Jacobs. & P. Adams Jr., PGE, Black Employee Resource Group, Ronald McDonald House Charities, the Diablo Black Men’s Group and was named as a Ron Brown Scholar.

He is president of the Interact Club and president and vice-president of numerous school clubs. He is also a member of the Hayward Youth Commission and a member of the National Honor Society.
