Performing Stars, which has changed the lives of more than 3,000 children, will be celebrating its 30th anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a virtual gala celebration using the theme “Le Cirque Des Étoiles (The Circus of the Stars), a Magical Night of Celebration and Inspiration.”
The program will feature circus performers, aerialists, magicians, musicians and inspiring speakers. Artists include Anngela Burt, Cuream Jackson, Elena Sanders, John Lam (Performing Stars Alumni), the Prescott Circus and Erin Shredder.
Carlos Santana, Sammy Hagar, and others will appear as guest performers.
Videos, great performances, and the personal stories of alumni who have been supported by Performing Stars throughout the years will also be featured.
A signed guitar from Carlos Santana and other prizes will be a part of the silent and live auctions.
Performing Stars’ goal is to make this virtual event as exciting as a live production. Staying true to the values and experiences created over the lifetime of Performing Stars, the program is expected to be joyous and exciting.
The virtual format of the event will allow Performing Stars to expand the audience and increase awareness of their mission. And, for the first time, the entire Performing Stars community can be a part of their celebration.
All proceeds from the event will directly support Performing Stars and their programs.
