What originally began as Jody and His Friends in 1985, has blossomed into what is now known as Milestones of Development, Inc., a non-profit organization that serves adults with developmental disabilities. Milestones is comprised of four intermediate care facilities and an adult day program that includes transportation services.
The adult day program consists of arts-and-crafts activities, community outings, and enrichment material. While the COVID-19 pandemic has affected in-person classes, virtual classes are still occurring four times a day. In-person classes are offered to individuals who reside in any of the four intermediate care facilities.
To meet the needs of the developmentally disabled, Milestones devotes their time and resources into providing innovative services and advocacy in order to move forward within their community and expand their efforts.
Milestones of Development, Inc. is located at 1 Florida St. Vallejo, CA, 94590. Their hours are from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. For more information on programs and services, ways to donate, or how to get involved, contact their direct line at 707-644-0496, email them at info@milestonesofdevelopment.org, or visit their website.
