‘We who reach for the stars!’ at Oakland Tech Auditorium, Jan. 16
Angela Wheeler, a member of Oakland Technical High’s Apollo 9th grade class which championed the movement to establish Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.s birthday as a state holiday in California, will present the play “We who reach for the stars!” Play will be on Thursday, Jan. 16, 7:00 p.m. at the Oakland Tech Auditorium, 42nd and Broadway. The benfit tickets are $10.00.
