Tuskegee Airmen Field Reopens in The Ville, Giving St. Louis Youth a Place to Grow
Tuskegee Airmen Field in The Ville has been reborn, offering St. Louis youth a space to play, grow, and meet challenges head-on with a resilient spirit.
Tuskegee Airmen Field at Tandy Park reopened with new turf, a track, bleachers, fencing, a scoreboard and an updated public address system. The field also carries the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, with retired Air Force Maj. Yolanda Wood challenging young people to meet obstacles with two words: “Watch me.”
