The Unseen Population in Stockton

Established in March of 2014 in collaboration with the California Secretary of State, non-profit public benefit corporation UnseenXS offers programs and services that link families and individuals from underprivileged communities to mental health support that may otherwise be out of reach.

UnseenXS addresses the community’s needs by providing free clinical counseling services, community development and support, mental health services, and youth services primarily offered through electronic media and telecommunication.

The outpatient services that Unseen offers includes a comprehensive case management team that addresses mental illness issues 24/7 by a team that consists of nurses, psychiatrists, psychiatric technicians, and case managers. Alongside case management, they offer clinical counseling support that provides families and individuals with group therapy that addresses anger management, mental disorders, art therapy, and the ability to establish a healthy support system. Telehealth therapy and a crisis response team is also available 24/7 to those in need.

UnseenXS is currently in the process of working toward a homeless disparities program while utilizing funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
