Super Bowl 50 is Open for Business
In November, The San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee launched Business Connect. 750 business owners attended two Kick-Off Workshops at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara and Moscone Center West in San Francisco. See photos here.
Business Connect links the Bay Area’s diverse business community to contracting opportunities related to Super Bowl 50. The program’s goal is to increase opportunities for minority, women, disabled veteran, lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender owned business enterprises to conduct Super Bowl business, as well as to support individual business growth through networking events and educational programs.
Business Connect is open to businesses located in the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area region including Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma that are certified as one or more of the following:
Minority-owned (MBE)
Women-owned (WBE)
Disabled veteran-owned (DVBE)
Lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender-owned (LGBTBE)
To qualify for participation in Business Connect, each business must be 51% owned by a minority, disabled veteran, lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender individual or business.
