Saleem Shakir-Gilmore for District 4, Oakland Board of Education
Saleem Shakir-Gilmore is running to become the District 4 member of the Oakland Board of Education. An Oakland native and former public school parent, he is an award-winning educator who has dedicated his career to serving Oakland students and families. Saleem has the vision, experience, and commitment to improve graduation rates, retain quality teachers, and increase fiscal accountability district-wide.
