“For Richmond” to Host Andrew Young October 20
For Richmond is hosting a free “Community Dinner with Andrew Young” on Monday, Oct. 20, p.m. to 8 p.m., at Lavona Middle School at 3400 Macdonald Ave. in Richmond.
Ambassador Young is a civil rights leader who worked alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and who continues to dedicate his life to humanitarian service and improving social and economic conditions for all.
He will share his insights on how social responsibility within a community—encompassing individuals and industry—can have a profoundly positive impact on that community’s economic development.
For Richmond is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting jobs, health, safety and educational opportunities for Richmond residents.
