The constant drone of passing automobiles overhead are interrupted briefly by the clanking of the occasional BART train.
A block from the 880/980 interchange sits a ramshackle set of hand me down tents and wire metal shelves stuffed with bicycle parts of all makes and sizes. It is the home to one proud homeless man who has hung up his shingle. Andrew “Sp8ce Man” Haid is open for business. His business is repairing bicycles.
