Forty Richmond Police Activities League (RPAL) students have completed a five-week mentoring program on etiquette facilitated by Tina Hayes, owner of “The School of Etiquette and Decorum.”
The culminating event was a finale dinner sponsored by Hotel Mac, where students displayed their teachings.
“Mentoring helps build relationships between adults and youth. It also intervenes with risky behaviors and/or poor choices,” said Brenda McCuistion, project manager of RPAL.
The program is sponsored by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency.
