Lee and Her Groom ‘Jump the Broom’ on New Year’s Eve
Rep. Barbara Lee married Rev. Dr. Clyde Oden Jr., a pastor on New Year’s Eve in Santa Monica, Calif. with many Bay Area constituents and leaders in attendance. Oden recently retired as the pastor at Bethel Oxnard African Methodist Episcopal Church.
In a tweet, the bride introduced him as her “newest constituent.”
Speaker Nancy Pelosi honored Lee during a session that considered limiting Trump’s war powers.
