Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, Women,
Coast Guard, National Guard, All colors,
And all good vets. We all did give…some of us gave!
There are flags decorating the fields of the brave.
Thank you V.A., volunteers and members of your staff
We thank you for your prayers, smiles and laughs.
You know the many ways that we bleed…
Thank you for being there in our time of need.
A prayer we offer to those who do battle..
Resisting the fear of death’s cold, cold, rattle.
To those who serve our Country’s needs
We Salute those troopers for their brave deeds.
A prayer we offer to each woman and man
May they return to their families again…
May they return from the horrors of war, find relief
…returning home to a world at peace!
