The San Francisco Chapter of the NAACP will discuss the campaign to get out the vote at it monthly branch meeting, open to the public, 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 23 at Third Baptist Church, 1399 McAllister St. in San Francisco.
The agenda will include selecting the nominating committee for the election of officers for the year 2013-14. There will also be a report on the forthcoming annual gala to be held on Nov. 3 at the San Francisco Hilton.  Judge Greg Mathis will be the featured speaker, and many community members will be honored, including Willie Mayes.
