Odessa Sutton Turns 90

Odessa Sutton (above) of East Bay, who just celebrated her ninetieth birthday, was born on Feb. 22, 1922. That is 2, 22, 22.
Sutton has been a dedicated volunteer and member of Today’s Artists/Four Seasons Arts since its inception in 1958 and a member of the Church for Today in Berkeley for the past 60 years.
Born in North Little Rock, Ark. to Henrietta and Herbert Smith, she has outlived her two siblings: Myrtle Banks and Herbert Smith, Jr. She came to California in 1943 and worked for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service for 40 years.
